Some time ago in this same blog, we posted an article about the career of Aldemar Campos as a scalp micropigmentation professional.
It talks about how he got started in the United Kingdom and his time in the United States, which was key to the worldwide expansion of the pioneering company in scalp micropigmentation.
The experience gained during this period enabled him to engage in his career independently in Spain, starting in 2013.
Since then, the Aldemar Campos Micropigmentation team has worked very hard, putting all our effort into getting to where we are today and earning the acceptance of the public in a sector that, unfortunately, continues to be questioned on a daily basis in terms of its results.
We must acknowledge that even though our status is (or at least we believe it is) well-deserved, achieving this would have been more complicated if the career of Aldemar Campos, today the only specialist at our only headquarters in Madrid, would have begun two or three years later, as many good technicians have established themselves since then in different places around the world.
Unfortunately, there are people who are in no way qualified or trained to provide scalp micropigmentation treatments or much less ensure acceptable aesthetic results, but the lack of competent regulation in our profession enables them to practise the technique.
These people take advantage of the excellent work done by many true professionals.
Their clients, whom we can sometimes almost consider to be victims, often end up dissatisfied. The worst comes when these technicians need feedback to attract clients.
In reality, this feedback does not exist; instead they use the name of a specialist with a good reputation to back their own work.
The alleged technician in question may have even attended a 2-3 day introductory course on scalp pigmentation, with no other contact or experience with the technique.
A few days ago, we received an email from someone who assured us that during the office visit for his scalp micropigmentation treatment, the technician told him that he had worked and learned the technique here in Spain, with Aldemar Campos. Well, this is completely false.
Our team consists of several people, but we remind you that the only specialist in charge of providing each and every one of our treatments is Aldemar.
As of today, while he has helped a small number of professionals to focus their career and perfect certain aspects of the technique, Aldemar has never trained or worked with anyone, , much less taught a course in any official capacity.
This point having been made clear, we would just like to say that it is unfortunate that there are still people who use the name of others to attract clients when they are aware of the great pain and suffering this can result in.
We hope that over time, once the technique has a greater impact and the general public is better informed, these technicians will abandon their work and will be replaced by appropriately qualified specialists.
