Aldemar Campos Micropigmentation team think we are committed to talk about a fairly sensitive subject that is not discussed very often in hair loss related internet forums and social network, but those who are closer to the Scalp Micropigmentation will find it somehow familiar.
Good communication
It’s greatly important the existence of a good communication between the client and the technician who is going ahead with his treatment, in such a way the second one can perfectly understand the reasons that pushed the first one to trust him and both can agree about the way the treatment is going to be carried out.
Sometimes, it’s hard for us to satisfy those requirements. There exist certain client profiles we the professionals have to be able to identify and refuse to carry out their treatment before making sure it will be successful for the sake of both. We realize such a statement may be offensive to some, so we want to show some examples of what we call “red flag customers” to make our position understandable.
Red flag customer
Red flag customer is anybody who met one or more of the following conditions:
There were cases like the one about the man who, years ago when the Scalp Micropigmentation technique was firstly starting, travelled a lot of times from Australia to the UK to get done the crazy amount of 10 treatment sessions. He ended virtually burning all of his savings due to the cost of flights, accommodation and treatment sessions. He actually was fixated with the size and shape of his head and wanted his hairline lowered to the point it would crossed his forehead frowns. The technician should have said NO since the first moment.
Believe it or not there are somehow funny too. Once, a guy said “somebody could die” if his treatment would be spotted and pointed out that he “had punched somebody at a clinic before”. This one ended up leaving the location after a heated argument during a break in his first session, within having the full session done, yelling and no; he didn’t pay a single cent.
Removing a treatment with the help of a pumise stone and lemon juice sounds creepy… but there is a man who actually did it and not only once… twice!! What the hell is the technician thinking at the moment he accepted to carry out the second treatment??
We can’t say so much about the diseases we have mentioned, because health and medicine are not into our professional field.
BDD is a condition that makes people suffering from it to be over-obsessed with one or more aspects of their own appearance, which can be real or imaginary. We think any technician should be able to recognize the symptoms that show a client could be suffering from BDD, carry the situation with professionality before doing anything.
We believe that the fact of suffering from HIV or any other blood-borne disease is not a condition that excludes anybody from getting the treatment done at first place. In fact, there are people with HIV who have received very successful treatments. Treatments like these can be carried out only after taking extreme precautions.
As we all know, the Scalp Micropigmentation treatment is not systematic or repetitive at all, and we Aldemar Campos Micropigmentation have the knowledge and experience to help all of our clients, finding the best solution for each one of them.
